Ms. Minkin leads the participatory process of planning and implementing
ANAF’s projects in her homeland of Turkey.
She comes to this work with 15 years experience
in organic food business, sustainable village projects and eco-tourism.
Prof. Dr. NERİMAN ÖZHATAY
Leader, Kars Region Flora Studies
One of Turkey's foremost botanists, Prof. Özhatay led field surveys and
scientific identification of hundreds of wild plants during the 2007-2008
Anatolia Foundation projects in Kars Province.

Dr. FATMA GÜNEŞ
Kars Region Botanical Project Director and Coordinator
Dr. Güneş is a lecturer at the Botanical Department of
Kafkas University and coordinates ANAF Botanical projects.

Dr. VINOD KUMAR
Leader Botanical Medicine Program
Ayurvedic Physician, Botanical Scientist and Holistic Counselor.
A strong supporter of Anatolia Foundation projects, Dr. Vinod
has led comparative botanical studies to identify medicinal flora and create remedies.
His Village Health Care Programs are unique
in Turkey and have opened the way to new possibilities
for botanical village projects.

TIJEN INALTONG
Tijen Inaltong, Food Culture Project Director
An experienced writer and food columnist with over 10 published books,
Ms. Inaltong is organizing a collection of recipes and food culture
anecdotes contributed by local villagers in Kars Province.
